Korbous

A spa village wedged between cliffs and the Gulf of Tunis on the wild western side of Cap Bon. At Ain Atrous, hot spring water runs straight into the sea.

History

Korbous became a fashionable thermal resort in the 19th century under the beys of Tunis.

Spring and autumn, when the contrast of warm and cool water is best.

The Romans already came here for the springs, which they called Aquae Calidae Carpitanae.
